Ferguson and Vidic The Best in Premier League

Manchester United's captain Nemanja Vidic and coach Sir Alex Ferguson has won the prestigious award a player and the best coach the Premier League 2010/11.

According to Four Four Two, Ferguson has won award after leading United won the Premier League title to the 19th in club history and the title of the 12th with the Red Devils.

While the captain Nemanja Vidic become a key player in United's back line that conceded just 35 goals this season. Not only that, Vidic also scored five crucial goals that helped bring United's record-breaking champion Liverpool.

Throughout the 2010/11 season, Alex Ferguson's squad unbeaten in 24 consecutive games in the period August 2010 to February 2011.

United also unbeaten at home this season, with a record 17 victories and only one time series, including an important victory over Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea.

This is the best coach award to the nine who achieved Ferguson, and second awards achieved by Nemanja Vidic.

This award was established by the Barclays Awards Panel consisting of the Premier League, the media and fans.
